We currently have two Siemens NX licences that allow us to design, and offline program, intricate parts that would be difficult to manufacture conventionally. We can work straight from a solid model, STP or IGES file, and virtually cut material before actual machining. We cover every aspect of the design review stage alongside the 3D design service, plus in-house research and development.
With continuous investment over the past 10 years, CNTL run some of the most advanced CNC machines in the region — able to manufacture complex components without compromising on quality.
We offer a full fabrication service, with sub-assemblies such as access platforms, stairways and structures manufactured to the relevant British and International Standards. Our Nottingham workshops are capable of producing sub-assemblies up to 5 tonnes — sheet metal, plate work and general fabrication in stainless steel and aluminium, for the automotive, aerospace, rail, food and chemical sectors.
Our modern Inspection department, with its dedicated quality inspector, strives to maintain the quality reputation CNTL has built up over the years. We are an ISO 9001:2015 accredited company, running an internal audit system across every procedure and following up with any changes needed to work above and beyond the standard.
Here at CNTL we offer an in-house assembly service, with experienced fitters capable of assembling projects both small and large.
Our site installation team has experience of design, manufacture and install, working closely with customers to make sure every stage of an install is completed to a high standard. All of our team are qualified and accredited to ensure safety throughout.
We specialise in design and manufacture to CE & LOLER lifting regulations, with a dedicated team that inspects and maintains lifting equipment. Our experienced design engineers can also create custom lifting equipment to suit.
We offer an in-house testing service, along with going out on site for testing and inspection. CNTL manufacture and stock calibration standards used for verification of non-destructive testing processes and plant — ultrasonic, eddy current and magnetic particle.
